Family Winter Celebration
Family Winter Celebration
A Free intergenerational event for children, parents, grandparents, and family members. Children 4 years and older are welcome to attend with an adult.
Come join us for this FREE celebration of Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays led by Music and Movement teacher Janet Greene.
Janet Greene, MA, is the music, movement, and integration specialist at Apple Blossom School
in Sebastopol. She has offered classes for children and teachers in Bali, Bhutan, Thailand, and South Africa. Janet received a Fulbright Grant to attend the Orff Music and Dance Institute in Salzburg, Austria, and now lives in Cloverdale.
Gather and dance around the Harvest Table
Play musical games in Spanish and English
Sing and dance Christmas, Hanukkah, and Solstice songs, lyrics provided
Play percussion instruments to accompany dances
See and hear the Musical and Magical Christmas Toys
Must RSVP by November 19.
